Jennifer Siegal’s Office of Mobile Design (OMD) offers a range of prefab solutions including:
- completely factory built homes such as the Take Home™ series
- modules such as Portable House™
- prefab ‘SIP’ panel construction such as Swellhouse.
The fully customizable Swellhouse employs a SIP (Structural Insulated Panel) system of prefabricated wall and roof panels providing modular structural stability, as well as thermal and acoustic insulation.

OMD’s Southern CA factory uses sustainable materials within a fully mechanically integrated, steel frame. A full-service architectural firm, OMD coordinates all aspects of the construction process, including permitting, engineering and site preparation. Modules are produced at a cost ranging between $210 and $280 per square foot.

OMD is developing homes in Desert Hot Springs, CA, and their Prefab Showhouse is open for tour at 1650 Abbott Kinney Blvd, in Venice, CA, near their headquarters.
